1. Find My Friends

Make sure your friend or someone else whom you want to track is having iPhone. On iOS 9, the app is already available, but if your friend’s phone is running on iOS 8, first download Find My Fiends app from App Store on their phone.
Step#1. Enable Share My location on friend’s iPhone
First open Find My Friends app on your friend’s iPhone. At the bottom of the app, profile picture will be displayed, click on that and under Setting enable the option of Share My location.
Step#2. Share location to your iPhone
On your iPhone, enable AirDrop from the Control center. You need to swipe up from the bottom of your screen to enable AirDrop. Make yourself available to everyone. You can also use the option of Contacts only but it will be useful only if other person has saved your contact information in their iPhone.
Open Find My Friend’s on others iPhone and tap on Add. As soon as it appears your contact icon, hit that and select Share Indefinitely to share their location to your iPhone.

Step#3. Accept their location
Once you have shared their location to your iPhone, you will get an option of Accept on your iPhone. Accept the shared location and after a while, a popup will appear asking you if you also want to share your location with them.
If you want them to track you back, click on Share option depends on the time limit. Else tap on Don’t Share so that they cannot share your location.

Step#4. Track location
Whenever you are done with all the above steps, you are ready to track their location. Simply click on their contact icon to see their location. You can also set notification about when they leave from particular place like office or home.              
Step#5. Hide Find My Friends from their iPhone
If you are spying on your boyfriend or girlfriend and don’t want to let them know if you are tracking him/her. Then you can also Hide Find My Friends app from their iPhone. Either disappear the app using a folder or the dock.
